My little Qais is getting worse every day, and I’m terrified I might lose him. His injured body can’t handle the cold, hunger, and fear anymore. Please, I’m begging you—don’t let him slip away.
When Qais stopped breathing for a moment, I thought his suffering had reached its end. Watching support disappear while he’s still full of shrapnel breaks me. Please donate and speak for us—your voice is the last hope keeping him alive.

I’m not too sure how to word all of this very well right now since we’re all in shock but my sister passed yesterday after dealing with stage 4 breast cancer
It’s already a toll on our family mentally but her oldest child (19) is out of state and trying to get back on short notice as well as our insurance not paying out. We pretty much live paycheck to paycheck and we no longer have food stamps. I’m not sure what else to do besides reach out for help
Anything right now is genuinely a huge help to us all.

Update on the Shehab Family
The Shehab family (@danashehab) has been verified and fundraising for over a year. They, along with @amalashournew have started a new campaign to support their families. Their families have been displaced countless times, and they are currently completely unsheltered without even a tent.
Amal’s husband was shot in the foot by IOF soldiers, and Amal herself is pregnant with a fast-approaching due date. These families have come together to raise funds to support themselves and their loved ones, and they need our support now more than ever. I was able to donate $15 to these two families. Hi! last month, October of 2025, the Alaskan coast was struck by a typhoon. The flood waters destroyed entire towns, lifting homes from their foundations and sweeping them away, wiping out grid infrastructure, and many stored wood and food supplies that families stocked up on the survive the winter (many of the more rural communities do not have year round roads, and no grocery store: they rely on food and supplies bright in by small aircraft)
This happened right after a funding freeze on relief aid for FEMA, and on its heels, the government shut down prevented regular food assistance and federal disaster relief efforts.
